■ Product Overview
The EDN.320 series of pressure transmitters is a general-purpose
industrial pressure transmitter designed around a piezoresistive silicon
pressure sensor featuring a stainless steel flush diaphragm.
Manufactured using the latest electronic component technology and PCB
chip design, it incorporates noise, burst, isolation, and surge protection
technologies to reliably amplify signals received from the pressure sensor.
Additionally, 100% calibration is performed in accordance with strict process
control and quality management standards, ensuring high reliability and stable
analog signal output performance.
The EDN.320 was developed to meet the control and measurement management
requirements of various industrial environments and is a versatile industrial
pressure transmitter suitable for a wide range of applications, from general
processes to harsh industrial environments.
■ Principle of Pressure Measurement
The EDN.320 measures pressure based on a piezoresistive silicon pressure
sensor.
Fluid pressure is transmitted internally through a stainless steel flush
diaphragm, causing pressure deformation in the silicon sensor. The minute
electrical signal generated at this time is detected by a Wheatstone bridge
circuit inside the sensor, and the PCB electronic circuit amplifies and
calibrates it to convert it into a stable analog signal.
The design minimizes the impact of external factors such as noise and
surges, enabling stable measurement even in diverse industrial environments.
■ Materials of Wetted Parts
All parts in contact with the fluid are made of stainless steel,
providing excellent corrosion resistance in typical industrial environments.
Depending on the application environment, additional configurations such
as a diaphragm seal or chemical flange are available to accommodate various
process conditions.
