Product Overview

The EDN.338 series pressure transmitter is specifically designed for heat exchanger applications, with all wetted parts made of stainless steel.

 

The applied piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor is designed to provide stable measurement performance in environments with frequent temperature variations, such as heating and cooling processes. It offers excellent temperature compensation characteristics under such conditions.

 

In addition, it incorporates advanced electronic components and PCB design technology. The signal processing circuit is designed to minimize the effects of noise, burst, insulation, and surge, ensuring stable signal transmission.

 

Through strict production and quality control processes, along with 100% calibration, the EDN.338 ensures reliable analog signal output and high performance.

 

This model is developed as a dedicated pressure transmitter suitable for control and measurement in heat exchanger systems.

 

Pressure Measurement Principle

The EDN.338 measures pressure based on a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor.

 

Process pressure is transmitted through a stainless steel diaphragm to the internal sensor, where it causes a minute deformation in the silicon element. This deformation is converted into an electrical signal through a Wheatstone bridge circuit.

 

The signal is then amplified and compensated by the PCB electronics and output as a stable analog signal.

 

The design minimizes the influence of external electrical noise and surge, ensuring reliable measurement even in environments with significant temperature fluctuations.

 

Materials of Wetted Parts

All wetted parts are made of stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance in general industrial environments and heat exchanger applications.

 

Depending on the installation conditions, additional components such as diaphragm seals or chemical flanges can be applied to meet specific process requirements.

 

Accuracy Class

The standard accuracy of the EDN.338 series is as follows:
