EDR.345 for Secondary Battery Applications, 0.5–4.5V / 5V Ratio-metric
■ EDR.345
Ratio-metric Output Pressure transmitters
- Ratio-metric
output (0.5…4.5V / 5V)
- Designed for low
supply voltage environments
- High stability
against voltage fluctuation
- Optimized for
automotive & industrial control systems
■ Product Overview
The EDR.345 pressure
transmitter is designed based on a 0.5…4.5V / 5V ratio-metric output system,
which requires more advanced analog design technology compared to conventional
current (4…20mA) or voltage outputs (0…10V, 0…5V, 1…5V).
It is specifically
designed for low supply voltage environments and battery-powered systems such
as automotive applications, where power supply fluctuations frequently occur.
The output signal responds proportionally to supply voltage variations,
ensuring accurate and reliable pressure measurement.
The transmitter
incorporates mathematical modeling for sensor characteristics and digital
compensation, enabling precise compensation for pressure and temperature
variations. Calibration and programming are performed under controlled test
conditions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
With its modular design,
the EDR.345 allows flexible adaptation of electronic circuits and system
configurations to meet various industrial requirements. It also supports a wide
range of pressure connections and electrical interfaces.
The transmitter is
designed to maintain stable performance even under harsh conditions such as
noise, vibration, and sudden power surges.
■ Pressure Measurement Principle
The EDR.345 measures
pressure using a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor.
Process pressure causes a
slight deformation in the sensing element, which is converted into an
electrical signal.
This signal is processed
and output as a ratio-metric signal proportional to the supply voltage.
This method minimizes the
influence of power supply fluctuations, ensuring accurate measurement
especially in battery-powered systems.
■ Materials of Wetted Parts
Wetted parts are
constructed with materials suitable for industrial applications, ensuring
compatibility with various operating conditions.
■ Accuracy Class
The standard accuracy of
the EDR.345 series is as follows:
▶ ±0.5% F.S
■ Applications
The EDR.345 is suitable
for the following applications:
▶ Fuel cell vehicles
