EDN.650
■ EDN.650, Differential Pressure Transmitter
- Laser welded flush diaphragm (All stainless
steel 316L)
- Piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor
- Differential pressure measurement
■ Product Overview
The
EDN.650 differential pressure transmitter is designed with all wetted flush
diaphragm parts joined by laser welding, and all materials are made of
stainless steel (316L).
The
pressure sensor is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor, with a minimum
differential pressure sensing range of 40 mbar, and a maximum static (line)
pressure of up to 200 bar.
■ Pressure Measurement Principle
The
EDN.650 consists of two piezoresistive pressure sensors, each independently
detecting pressure.
Each
sensing element is installed inside a stainless steel housing, where the
pressure sensor is completely isolated and filled with silicone oil without any
air or gas.
The
pressure is transmitted through the flush diaphragm, which is the only part
exposed to the process pressure.
The
pressure applied to each diaphragm is transferred to the differential sensing
structure and then to the silicon wafer die.
The
silicone oil and sensor die are connected to an amplifier, forming an
electrical circuit through wiring, and signal processing is carried out using semiconductor-based
integrated circuits.
Through
the piezoresistive effect, the input pressure signal forms a precise linear
relationship with the Wheatstone bridge output on the silicon die.
Through
this process, the differential pressure is accurately measured and converted
into an analog output signal.
All
wetted parts are made of stainless steel 316L, ensuring excellent corrosion
resistance except for special fluids.
The
pressure connection can be configured according to application requirements,
and a male adapter can be added to the female pressure connection.
