■ Product Overview

The EDN.710 series pressure transmitter is constructed with all stainless steel housing and wetted parts, making it suitable for general industrial environments as well as hygienic applications such as food & beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

 

A piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor with a stainless steel diaphragm is applied, providing high accuracy and excellent long-term stability.

 

It incorporates advanced electronic components and PCB design, and the signal processing circuit is designed to minimize the effects of noise, burst, insulation, and surge. Through strict quality control and full inspection processes, the transmitter ensures stable analog and communication signal output.

 

The EDN.710 series optionally supports RS485 digital communication and 2-channel relay outputs, allowing flexible application depending on user requirements.

 

■ Pressure Measurement Principle

The EDN.710 measures pressure based on a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor.

Process pressure is transmitted through a stainless steel diaphragm, causing a minute deformation in the sensing element. This deformation is converted into an electrical signal. 

The signal is then amplified and compensated by the internal PCB circuitry and output as stable analog or digital signals.

All wetted parts and housing are made of stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability in both industrial and hygienic environments.
