CDS.911 Threaded Diaphragm seal
■ CDS.911, Threaded Diaphragm Seal (Internal Diaphragm
Type)
• All stainless steel body
& internal diaphragm
• Threaded diaphragm seal (direct / capillary type)
• Nominal pressure up to 40 bar
• Dry type or various filling liquids (Options include glycerine, silicone and
vegetable oil)
• Capillary connection [option]
■ Product Overview
The CDS.911 series is a screw-type diaphragm
seal featuring an internal diaphragm structure, designed to isolate the process
fluid from the pressure measurement equipment to protect the equipment.
All wetted parts are made of 316L stainless
steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and enabling stable operation
in various process environments, including corrosive, viscous, and
high-temperature fluids.
It is used in combination with pressure
gauges (MAX, MBX series) or pressure transmitters (EDA.370, EDA.371),
preventing direct contact between the process fluid and the measuring equipment
to extend equipment lifespan and ensure measurement reliability.
Options include dry-type or various system
fill fluids, and capillary connection options allow for adaptation to a wide
range of installation conditions.
■ Principles of Pressure
Measurement
The CDS.911 diaphragm seal transmits process
pressure via an internal metal diaphragm.
The pressure of the fluid deforms the
diaphragm, and this deformation is transmitted to the pressure gauge or
transmitter via the internal filling fluid or a direct connection structure.
This design ensures stable pressure
transmission while protecting the measuring equipment from direct exposure to
corrosive, high-temperature, or viscous fluids.
■ Materials of wetted
parts
All fluid-contacting parts are made of 316L
stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance against most
industrial fluids.
For special environments, Teflon coating or
other specialized materials can also be applied.
■ Accuracy class
The CDS.911 is a sealed product rather than a
self-contained measuring device, and its accuracy depends on the precision of
the pressure gauge and transmitter with which it is paired.
▶ Pressure Gauge
- MAX series: Class 1.0 / 1.6 (EN 837-1)
- MBX series: Class 1.0 / 1.6 (EN 837-1)
