■ Product Overview
CDS.951
is a diaphragm seal system designed for use with pressure gauges (MAX, MBX
series) or pressure transmitters (EDA series), enabling reliable pressure
measurement in demanding environments.
The
internal diaphragm design with a large working volume ensures stable pressure
transmission, while the screwed diaphragm seal construction allows easy
maintenance and configuration flexibility.
It is
suitable for aggressive, viscous, high-temperature, or crystallising media,
protecting instruments and ensuring long-term stability.
■ Pressure Measurement Principle
Process
pressure is applied to the diaphragm and transmitted to the pressure gauge or
transmitter via the system fill fluid.
The
diaphragm isolates the instrument from the process medium, ensuring accurate
and reliable pressure transmission.
In
gauges, pressure is indicated mechanically via a Bourdon tube, while in transmitters
it is converted into an electrical signal.
■ Materials (Materials of wetted parts)
CDS.951
uses stainless steel 316L for all wetted parts, providing excellent corrosion
resistance and durability.
Both
the upper (instrument connection) and lower (process connection) parts are made
of stainless steel 316L and support various flange standards.
The
diaphragm is a high-sensitivity soft membrane type, tested with helium leak
detection up to 10⁻⁹ mbar·l/s to ensure high sealing integrity.
Optional
PTFE coating is available for enhanced resistance against aggressive media.
