■ Product Overview
The EDN.369 series is a threaded-type pressure
transmitter designed for hydrostatic level measurement.
Unlike submersible types, it can be installed
externally on pipelines or structures using threaded process connections,
offering flexibility in installation.
It is based on a piezoresistive silicon pressure
sensor and constructed with stainless steel, making it suitable for water, oil,
and other non-corrosive fluids.
With IP68 protection, the transmitter is suitable
for outdoor, submerged, and harsh environmental conditions.
The EDN.369 can be used not only for level
measurement but also for general pressure measurement in pipelines.
■ Pressure Measurement
Principle
The EDN.369 measures level using hydrostatic
pressure.

(level) of the liquid
Po
: Pressure applied at the liquid surface (atmospheric pressure)
(For example,
a liquid depth of 100 cm corresponds approximately to 100 mbar (for water))
The pressure generated by the fluid height is
transmitted to the sensor and converted into an electrical signal.
This method assumes a specific gravity of 1
(water), and compensation can be applied for other fluids such as oil.
Atmospheric pressure compensation is essential to
ensure accurate measurement.
